The families I photograph often become friends after our sessions. I’m beyond lucky to get to work with truly the most amazing souls.  Some however were friends long before they even had a family of their own for me to photograph. This handsome fella (below) was actually my husband’s roommate and best friend when we met. Eventually he even became our roommate for a year. I always said that if I could spend a week in someone’s head it would be in his. He’s just so awesome and wonderfully quirky. We were beyond excited when he showed up at our son’s first birthday party with this gorgeous little lady. I remember feeling like she was so perfect there had to be a catch when I met her haha. Turns out there wasn’t and she really is just that incredible and actually even gets more impressive over the years. Seriously. One day she was casually like “Oh, I paint” followed by showing me an amazing gallery of these paintings she had done over the years. We even have one proudly displayed in our home because she’s just that talented. We are so happy for our friend that he found his lobster and that they have now built the cutest little family together.
