As I said in our gender reveal post I am beyond thrilled to have a little girl!! It’s been something I’ve daydreamed about since I was a little girl myself. I just can’t believe it’s coming true and how unbelievably blessed we are. We were already blessed with the most amazing child and now to be adding another little one after wishing and hoping for so long is just too incredible to describe. It’s honestly something I have spent the last 8 months trying to wrap my head around. Though I took these at 33 weeks, we are currently 37 weeks and 22 days from our due date. In reality we could meet her well before then. That’s yet another thing I have been trying to wrap my head around. I am both so eager to meet our sweet little one and freaking out that we need a little more time (we barely just got her furniture for her nursery!). I am doing my best to breathe and just know that once she is here none of that will matter. Our family will be complete. Our hearts will be so full. It won’t matter that her nursery isn’t decorated or our house never got painted and looks like Hurricane Baby Gap came through in full force. The 2+ months of close contractions, insomnia, sciatic pain, hormones, pills and pregnancy rash, etc. will all be but a distant memory. Every moment before will have lead us to the one where she is ours and it will all have been so utterly worth it.
While I was taking these images with the intention of doing a double exposure (above), I just love the natural “outtakes” so I thought I’d share a few:
