I know it may seem like I abandoned my weekly pregnancy pictures only two weeks in but we actually have been taking them almost every week, I just haven’t had time to post with the busy fall portrait season. Now that the season has wrapped I’ll be playing catch-up now so it will be like a whole trimester happened in just a few days. Wait until you see how much that bump has grown since these!
During week 18 baby girl and I went on my own little adventure to San Antonio, TX for the Clickin’ Moms conference, Click Away. I had amazingly won a free seat by doing this super fun summer picture scavenger hunt (along with the prettiest camera bag and other goodies!) so there was no more fear-soaked excuses not to go. Most people don’t know this but I have pretty awful anxiety. I am terrified of a lot of (very strange) things and am easily sent into a panic attack when put in uncomfortable situations. And unfortunately a lot of things are uncomfortable for me. Flying, a room full of strangers, talking to said strangers, crowds, and eating/walking/traveling on my own are pretty high on that list. Of course these are all things I needed to do in order to attend this amazing conference and I am really glad I stepped out of my comfort zone and went. While I did have one pretty major panic attack and had to leave the gallery party they threw, I am still proud that I was able to get through most of it and make friends and be inspired along the way. San Antonio definitely helped me relax with all it’s charm and beauty.
Anyways, here are a few quick pictures I snapped at our hotel room in between workshops and classes along with some behind-the-scenes snapshots from two of the workshops I did while there.
The conference was right in the middle of all of my mini and fall session madness so I was really wanting to let this be a break from my camera as much as possible and be more about sitting back and being inspired. I did pick it up a couple of times at two of the workshops though to grab some behind-the-scenes snapshots.

And of course a couple of snapshots from my phone of the beautiful San Antonio. Gotta love that I had my big camera on me and still chose to use my phone.
I have to say I was pretty taken by the magic of San Antonio. The Riverwalk was definitely favorite spot despite the lack of pictures.
